Touch a truck

Last weekend they had a really cool thing down in the Strip District. It was called Touch a Truck sponsored by the Junior League of Pittsburgh. We got to go and see over 60 different trucks that the kids could climb all in and honk the air horns and turn knobs. They also got to meet the great men and women that drive these really cool vehicles. There were garbage trucks, Mac trucks, a school bus, construction equipment, emergency vehicles and the Eat N Park van where the kids could design there own smiley cookie. It rained a good deal while we were there, but it was still a ton of fun! At the very end though the sky let loose and we had to run for it, but still ended up being so drenched all the kids had to ride home in their underwear. What fun!
