The following pictures are of Josiah with a few of his relatives over Thanksgiving. He loved getting to meet them all, and whoever it was that had him he always had a great big smile to give them. Here he is with his Grandma.
Here are Abigail and my niece Samantha outside Thanksgiving day, aren't they just a couple of beauties? Abigail just loved Samantha, each morning when Samantha would get up Abigail would run and give her a hug and say, "Good morning Samantha!!!!" Then Samantha would sleepily say, "Good morning." Guess not everyone is as perky as Abigail first thing.
After much work and skill we finally got the car all packed up with our stuff, and still managed to have room for the kids. Here is Abigail sitting in the car in Grandma's driveway waiting to depart, surrounded by stuff. Doesn't she look excited to be going home. Hilarious!
In all reality this was the warmest Thanksgiving weekends that I can remember. But Thanksgiving day was a bit chilly, her I am with my cuties enjoying some time outside while all that hard work is going on inside.
Last Monday Abigail went to get her flu shot, she did so good, especially after she got her sucker (that's what's in her mouth). She also got the cute sticker that says "i'm a Junior Flu Fighter." There will be plenty of pics coming up in the next few days from our trip to WV for Thanksgiving, so check back soon.
Here is a picture of Abigail and Josiah all dressed for church last week, I think this is so precious.
The other day we were playing in Josiah's room, and I got this great shot of him being so excited about something that Abigail was doing. He is such a happy little fella, especially when he gets to play with his big sister.
Remember Atari? One stick...one button. Simple. Today Sony came out with the Playstation 3, a $600 gaming console that will surely rot the minds of many teenagers and single men with no chance for a date. And I am sure it will have a lot of buttons...not just one.
We think her shirt should say "I'm a Real grump." It doesn't but it should. Look at her lip, could it stick out any farther. This is Abigail's new whiny face. It really made the mood lighter to take a picture of it. In fact, she was whining and then stopped instantly, and said, "Abigail see picture." So this confirms that whatever she was whining about in fact was not really earth shattering after all.
Josiah is perhaps the happiest little baby i've ever known. From the time he wakes up until bedtime he is smilng most of the time. Of course, he has his moments, but don't we all. Here he is giving us one of his cute grins, I love the tongue sticking out.
John and I went to visit a friend in the hospital last night, and Abigail spent the evening with Karen and Marsh. Karen and Abigail had some fun making some bread. Here is Abigail with the dough she kneaded and put in the pan herself. We left it to rise for the night and baked it this morning.
This is Abigail this morning shortly after the bread came out of the oven. She really loved it and was so excited and she said it was YUMMY!!!!
Here are our cuties hanging out on the floor together. Abigail looks so excited, however, Josiah, has the look that says, "Are you serious, this girl's my sister?"
Here is Josiah enjoying a nap after his first round of shots today. He did such a good job, unlike his sister, who screamed as soon as she's layed on the table, he was great through the whole exam. He even smiled at the doctor, and gave John and I his first laugh while we were waiting in the room for the doctor to come. When it came time for his shots, he did a great job too, not even crying on the first, and grunting his way through the second, by the time the third one came he figured he'd had enough, and cried a bit, but still he did so good. And the moment you've all be waiting for, how big is our little, or not so little guy?..... He now weighs a wopping 13lbs. and 13ozs. and is 24 1/4 inches long. He is at the top of the charts for height and weight, he's our sweet little man.
Abigail had her first sucker yesterday, here she is oh so excited about it.
