What kid doesn't enjoy a good game of "where's ______?" It was Abigail's fav as a baby, and she still gets a kick out of it. The other day Daddy was playing with Josiah by throwing a blanket over his head and pulling it back, he'd laugh and kick. So of course Abgail wanted to join in. Here is a shot of all that silliness.
What is it about our cabinets that make kids want to climb IN to them? I think we have a similar pic of Abigail. Anyway, we were putting a few final touches on the house to start showing it this week. I thought that straightening this cabinet could be something I could do while Josiah was awake. Turns out that I could and he decided to help too. What a cute helper.
We took another trip north this past week, it was much shorter this time around. While John and I did some things in Pittsburgh, Josiah and Abigail had a blast with Bonky and Pappy. Here is Josiah waving on his tractor ride around the yard. He looks a little concerned, but he's having a good time.
For our first anniversary Allison and I went to Chimney Rock in western NC. Little did we know one day we would live just about 30 minutes from this beautiful place! I spend a great deal of time climbing around on these mountains.
I've been busy trying to pack up stuff in hopes of getting all of our stuff we don't immediately need out of the way to sell the house. Here is Josiah and Abigail trying to push a full box across the floor, they weren't very successful, but they sure were cute trying.
Here is Josiah with his spoon, he's been trying his hand at feeding himself. I know he has the wrong end in his mouth, he really hasn't got the hang of it yet.
I realized that we have posted a picture the last 2 years of Abigail trying on her new winter coat. This year is no different! We had some friends of ours that love yard sales to look for some fall clothes for the kids. They found this oh so cute coat and matching snow pants for Abigail. I think that her most favorite thing about moving to Pittsburgh will be the snow. She's so excited. There has not been much snow here since she was born, so she doesn't really even know what snow really is. Maybe an inch or two, but not much. But she'll be playing in style.
