Fireman to the rescue

How do they measure up to an elephant

101_3337

The day before yesterday the boys and I met up with some friends at the zoo. Always a great time of course. Here are the boys posing in front of an exhibit near the elephants that lets you measure yourself compared to various elephants. There used to be a marker that was for Ben Rothlesberger. It has since been removed and is now a marker for Mario Lemuiex. Imagine that.

Josiah and Crosby

Bath time

101_3340
Originally uploaded by TheReillys
Recently every time we go to the zoo there is an elephant getting a bath in the elephant house. It's super fun to watch. Especially since the elephant obeys different commands the keeper tells it. He'll say put out your foot, and she will, or lay down, and she will. Turn around, and she will. So cool!

Abigail's quilt

Abigail's quilt

The Friday we got the absolute pleasure of going to Abigail's school for an art show. It was so fun to get to see all the things she had created all year long in art class. The thing she was most excited to show us was this quilt that she helped her class make. It was on display in the very front hall, right by the door, so everyone could see it. The panel she contributed is the one on the top row, second from the right. We are so proud of her! She says that maybe she'll be an artist like Daddy when she grows up.
