This is an upclose pic of my zucchini plants, i'm proud of them most of all. They are huge. There are 5 hills that look like this one, so hopefully i'll get a good crop. I mean look at those leaves, they're massive!

Here is a recent picture of my garden. It is looking a little rough, due to either days and days of rain or sweltering heat that hasn't allowed me to work too much in it. And leaving for a week didn't help much, when we got back from WV it looked awful, then the heat wave hit, and now it's rain. I have managed to at least weed around the plants with my hands, but as you can tell between the rows need done as well. But the plants themselves are coming along nicely. From left to right there is a row of canteloupe, cucumbers, squash, zucchinin, nothing, then lettuce, carrots, what's supposed to be green onions, they're in there somewhere, then my three rows of beans, (which are starting to bud by the way.)

Yes I know this is another picture of her and her pancake, but I really wrestled with to post or not to post. But this is really a cute picture, truly capturing her charm. And like anybody would ever say that I shouldn't have posted it, even though it's another of her eating her pancake. So there you go, three pics of her essentially doing the same thing, but isn't she just too cute?

This is Abigail letting me know how much she loves her newest food. Notice how her foot is up on the tray of the high chair, she does this all the time, we keep telling her that once she gets to the big table, this will have to stop. Either that or we should be allowed to start doing it.

We were enjoying our dip in the pool a whole lot more than this picture lets on. I wasn't even quite sure I was in the picture as John was taking it, and Abigail is probably just sad that Daddy got out of the pool in the first place. But here we are in the swimming hole, we had a great time then had a great dinner on our deck at our new patio furniture, big family fun!

All of the neighbors enjoyed seeing this as they drove by...I am sure of that. While Abigail played "get in, get out" I played David Hasslehoff and made sure she did not fall down. Unfortunatly I could not find one of those red float thingys that David H. got to carry around. But we did move around in slow motion a great deal. Oh Baywatch.

Abigail loves to get into the cabinets, so I allow her to get into the ones with Tupperware and the like. I was sitting at the kitchen table enjoying my oatmeal, and Abigail was enjoying playing with the various plastic ware, when I looked down she was in the process of putting the Kool-Aid pitcher on her head. It was too funny not to get a picture of. She was actually sitting up smiling, like Mom look at me i've got a pitcher on my head. But by the time I got the camera I guess her head got tired. Sometimes she just cracks me up.

Here is Abigail with our friend Chris. He is going into the Marines on Sunday so he was hanging out with us for a while today. Abigail just couldn't get enough of his hat, she loved wearing it, and smiled at him so big. She used to not like Chris too much, but today she just loved on him a bunch. Better late than never I guess.

Here is a pic of Abigail in her new pool. Or rather getting out of her new pool. We had a great time, however, her favorite activity was getting in and out, which sometimes left Mommy sitting alone in the pool looking silly as people drove past. But she would always climb back in, with a fist full of grass to add to the water of course. I'll try to get some more pictures of her later actually in the pool playing, but I just had to add one last picture of her before the 11th month ended. That's right our big girl is 11 months old today, WOW!!!

John had a great first Father's Day. Abigail gave him perhaps the best gift ever, a snuggle. She is not normally a very snuggley girl, but as you can see she got pretty comfy with Daddy, and dozed off for almost an hour.

Abigail's Grandma Lowmiller gave her these sunglasses for Easter. Back then she wanted nothing to do with them, but today, out of curiousity I put them on her before we went out to get the mail. She actually left them on, and smiled real big, and posed for some photos and a video. I took her in front of the mirror, where I too had on my shades and she just looked and the reflection, then up at me, and back at the reflection, and smiled so big. I guess she's getting to that age where it is actually cool to be doing the same thing as mommy. I think I will cherish this for now, because the time when this won't be the case will come too fast. I'm not sure what she's pointing at, it seems to be in the direction of the mail box, maybe she knew where we were headed.

One of Abigail's favorite things in our bedroom is a quilt rack that her Pappy made for us a few years ago. She has always loved to pull up and hold on to it, but a few weeks ago she realized that when she peeped through the heart Mommy was on the other side. She gave me a big smile and peeked around the side, then back through the hole, another big smile. Ever since then anytime we're in our bedroom she crawls over to the quilt rack, stands up, and peeps through the hole, whether i'm on the other side or not. Usually i'll go over to the other side and peep through to her, and she flashes that priceless smile. My favorite part is how her little fingers are curled inside of the heart. Her daddy captured this shot a few days ago, when we were all in our room and she again went over to her favorite thing there. Thanks Pappy, we love the quilt rack, but who knew it would one day be used for something far more exciting than holding my mom's quilt.

This is Abigail with our friend Jen, a great friend from college who now lives in Virginia, on the way to Grandma Prysock's. We stop there every time we head up that way. Usually its for an overnight visit, but this particular time it was just for lunch at O'Charlie's. But Abigail had a blast showing off her cuteness. She really liked Jen, she's not exactly smiling in this pic, but take my word for it, she loved Jen.

This past week we spent some time with both of Abigail's grandma's. Here is a good picture of her with my mom (Grandma Prysock). It was taken right before she left, she wasn't too into sitting down while we were there. But notice, she has her Lamby with her, that makes her much more complient.

Grandma Prysock has a great full length mirror at the end of her hallway. Abigail and I were playing there one day on our trip, and she thought the baby was too cute not to kiss. I've been saying that all along about her, but evidently now she agrees. The mirror was really a slobbery mess by the time she was done.

This is a picture of the sunrising off of John's mom's back porch in WV where we were for a trip last week. Abigail decided she wanted to get up soooo early while we were there, so we witnessed some great sunrises. Beautiful, but give me a break kid.

Here is Abigail and her cousins Timmy and Cole. Timmy's the handsome one with his arm around Abigail, he says he doesn't like babies, but I think he likes her, how could he not.
