The adventures of the Reilly family.

We have forever wanted this picture, so thanks Bonky for capturing it for us. This is Josiah's excited face, generally he stands up on his knees, makes this face and flaps his arms really hard. It is so funny. Abigail did the same thing as a baby. But it is so fleeting and random usually that we can't ever get a shot of it. Good job Bonky!
Abigail is such a big girl, she insists on doing most things herself these days, including peeling her banana, or banany as she calls it. So here she is, about to enjoy a sweet treat.
Abigail is having a blast on the bouncy thing at the park, I was just concerned that with her tongue hanging out that far she just might bite it right off. Silly girl! Josiah and I in the background checking out the spongy surface, he thought it was cool stuff.
While we were at Bonky's we took the kids, Abigail, Josiah and Abigail's cousin Cole, to Oglebay Park for a picnic and some play time. Here are the two older ones being pretty silly. It was fun to listen to them talk to each other, because they had a hard time understanding each other sometimes and then would get frustrated. But in the end we were at the park, so they really didn't care.
Cole and Abigail think that their Grandma is silly stuff. Don't they look excited?
It took me a second to realize why this picture was all yellow. This is Abigail coming down the inside of a slide at Oglebay Park while we were at Bonky's.
Last week as a birthday present for Abigail we took her to her first movie, Ratatouille. She had a great time and sure looks like such a big girl there in the seat.
After the movie we went to Chick-fil-A for dinner. It is such a great place. We let Abigail pick where we went for her birthday lunch. For dessert we shared a milkshake. It sure was a sweet treat with my girl.
For months, all Abigail wanted was a Nemo Cake for her birthday. So here it is, Daddy's creation. She had a great birthday party, her first one with friends, instead of just Mommy and Daddy and Karen. It was a blast and there are more pictures, just scroll down. There are also a bunch from our trip too. But there will be more to come.
This is the best photo we have of all the party goers, the kids at least. They really don't look like they are having that much fun, but they did.
We had a bunch of games planned, but Abigail didn't really want to play once the party got here. But we did manage to do one game, pin the fin on Nemo. Here is one of her little friends doing his best. Oh, and Daddy drew the Nemo, isn't it awesome?!?
Abigail is super excited about getting her Charlotte's Web DVD. We had borrowed it from a friend in the past, and she loved it so I decided to get it for her. When she realized what it was, she got super happy, and said, "It's Charlotte's Web, Daddy!"
Maybe i've not been to enough 3 year's old parties, but this was crazy. When it came time for Abigail to open her gifts everyone joined in, whether we wanted them to or not. It is like a free for all. But she had fun all the same.
Here is Abigail posing with her stuff after it was all cleaned up, she looks like a happy birthday girl.
While at Bonky's Abigail got to make her own table cloth with stamps and then her hand prints. She really loved doing it and here she is with her Bonky stamping out the first stamp.
Abigail has always made this funny face when she is really excited about something. When she was a baby it was something she did, but now we can get her to do it on cue, so here she is showing the world how excited she is to be making her table cloth.
Bonky had a big wheel for Abigail, but Josiah liked to sit on it too. Here he is and just out of the frame is our nephew Cole. I think that Josiah is giving him the evil eye.
Abigail has always loved puzzles. And her Bonky had some at her house for her. But she didn't want to play them with Mommy, she wanted to play with Pappy, which is so sweet. So here they are. I think they did like 8 puzzles that day.
Here is our little guy sitting on his Bonky's lap. He sure did love his visit, and can't wait until we live closer so he can play some more.
While we were on our interview tour we had to spend 3 nights in a couple hotels. Here is Abigail our first night, she was surrounded by pillows so she wouldn't fall out of bed. Every so often she would look up and see what we were doing. Here is one such photo, she looks so silly over there. She eventually fell asleep and we had to wake her the next morning to go to a meeting. Silly girl!
Josiah is sleeping so sweet in his first night at the hotel, he did really well considering. It was funny to watch him each night try to get to sleep. He would just roll around in the pack n' play and then stand up and hang on the side, then fall down, and eventually he hummed and kicked himself to sleep.
Josiah looks so sweet here in the swing at the park, it's like he can reach out and touch you...almost.
After the parade on the 4th we went to the park for a bit, here is Abigail loving the swing, I think this kid could swing all day long.
Here is a cute pic of Abigail and Josiah at a 4th of July concert on our courthouse lawn. Josiah is really into checking out the grass, and Abigail sure loves her flag.
Josiah still crawls faster than any little baby i've ever seen. In fact we're not sure if he will ever walk because he is just so darn fast crawling why bother. This is him crawling over his bobby trying to chase mommy. The boppy slowed him down, but only for a minute, he eventually caught me. By the way, we're back from our tour of interviews, and will probably be posting pics of our trip soon.
Cooking at Abigail's kitchen has long been one of her favorite things, but recently Josiah has been joining in the fun. Here they are cooking up something delicious.
Here are Josiah and Abigail looking out into the yard from Josiah's room. There are just too sweet together.
Here is Josiah having a great time with some old rinsed out bottles, he just loves hitting them together and hitting his mama occasionally too.
We are heading out of town this week for a crazy tour of interviews through VA, PA, and OH as well as a stop to see some family in WV, so we wanted the car to look nice and clean. So here is John and his little helper getting it looking its best. Check out the purple sponge! John bought it just for Abigail to help. out. She had so much fun.
