Today was a very fun day for the boys and I. We got to go and play in the yard after lunch! We've been watching our snowman slowly melt over the last week or so. Becoming the only blob of snow left in the yard, until it was barely able to be seen. So today when we went out I went to the spot where now lays a bunch of scattered stones, a rotten carrot nose, some sticks that were his arms, and this tiny bit of snow, the last of Capt. Snowy, our pirate snowman.
Samuel was very excited to be outside playing in the dirt and mud. And yes, his face is still a little orange from spaghetti for lunch. But it's still very handsome!
A few days ago Josiah said to me when it had started snowing again, "I'm done with the snow. I'm ready to go play in the dirt." So today we got a great chance to do it! He was tired of me taking pictures of it though. What a smile.
Here is Abigail posing with the bird house Valentine's Day box we made for school. She is such a crafty girl. We had so much fun making it. And she pretty much did it all, minus cutting the cardboard.
Abigail and Josiah helped me make some super yummy black and gold cupcakes for our Super Bowl party with the Honeys.
The kids thought it would be cool to have shirts for the Super Bowl party. So we got some plain ones and Daddy and the kids made their own. What fun!
Samuel is officially a big boy now. He's been fully potty trained for a bit over a month. We even were actually able to find underwear to fit his tiny little butt. We're so proud of him. He's doing such a good job. And, judging from this picture, he's proud of himself too!
Samuel loves to read. Samuel loves Abigail. So what better than when Abigail reads him a book. So sweet!
