Why not?
After racking my brain over which khaki pants shot to post, I decided....BOTH! I mean she really is too cute, and we have so much space left on the blog for this month, I say why not?

As the evenings get cooler we actually have to wear pants, and I thought Abigail was too cute in her little khakis. She is getting to be such a big girl.
With the giant letters I also made some smaller blocks to stack. She did a really good job of stacking them on top of one another, but here she obviously decided that she needed to build something in the kitchen. So she is carrying on in that direction. It was too funny to watch her walk with the block, as you can see its almost as big as her.
Abigail and I have been extremely busy this past week, hense no blogs for a while. One thing we've really had a great time doing is playing with the giant letters she got for her birthday. I had built a big box out of them, then she got inside and demolished the whole thing, but not before she peeked out to see if I was watching. She loved when I would go up to the open letters and peek inside, she would just roll around inside and just giggle, stop, then i'd do it again, more rolling and giggling. She is so much fun!
Living in Marion means we don't have a mall right at our fingertips, so it is an event to go shopping. We were headed to Asheville today to buy Daddy some new pants, and I let Abigail pick out her outfit. Obviously she saw the importance of dressing for the occasion, I mean look at that dress! She walked herself right down the sidewalk to the car, ready for some shopping. Isn't she too sweet? Of course while at the mall, she charmed everyone within seeing or hearing distance. An older couple jokingly asked if she was for sale, I quickly said NO WAY! How could I ever live without my precious one?
Abigail tends to get bored on trips sometimes, so we have a few books for her to look at while we drive. This one is on of her favorites. She peeked up over the cover just long enough for me to snap a shot.
Today Abigail and I (John) spent some time just rocking after she got up from her nap. She was very sleepy and did not seem to excited to join the awake world just yet.
What is that in the toilet you ask? Simply put, its my hairbrush, or rather was my hairbrush. Yesterday as I was doing something at the sink in the bathroom, Abigail was playing with various things on the floor, one being my brush. All of a sudden she gets up and walks to the other side of the room, I don't think anything of it until I hear "Clunk, clunk" I turned around and said, "You did not just throw my brush in the toilet." But sure enough she did. So needless to say we will be making a trip to the store for a new one today. Another lesson learned, ALWAYS, put the lid down.
Here is a picture of Abigail in her new tiara. It's just cardboard advertising Cinderella DVD, but I think she looks like a beautiful princess just the same. Notice her "bracelet" It's one of my hair ties that she likes to wear. In some ways she's all girl, the bracelet and crown and her love for shoes. But in others not so much. Like how she LOVES to dig in the dirt or would rather play with a car than a doll and her fearlessness toward bugs. Either way, she's still our princess!
While we were playing this morning with her ball, Abigail just stopped and got her sandles and handed them to me, like, put these on. Then she walked off to find her lamb, but once she came back I thought it was too cute not to take a pic.
So as I said in a previous post Abigail has really been getting into stuff. Well here she is literally IN the bathroom cabinet. Guess she figured she cleared everything out, she could go in there now.
Doesn't it though? I truly think she is cute. This outfit was given to her by her Aunt Daryl for Christmas but we have been unable to use it until now. I just couldn't resist this blogable moment as we were getting ready to head outside. It was so cool this morning that after going out I realized it was too chilly for her normal morning outdoor playwear (usually just the tops to her pajamas and her diaper, but still her sandles of course, she can't leave the house without them). So we had to came back in and I had to put longsleeves and pants on Abigail. I sure do love this weather and can't wait till fall is really here!
Here is Abigail running at full clip after me and the camera on the porch this morning. I especially like the tongue hanging out for extra consentration.
Last but not least, because I think this is by far the funniest pic of all. The gold thing Abigail is standing with is a really ugly toilet paper holder that the previous owners of our house left. We don't really use it, but it does stay in the bathroom. But the other day, Abigail started just dragging it around. So here she is, in our bedroom, with the toilet paper holder. I tried to get a pic of her actually dragging it, but couldn't, but i'm sure you can picture this tiny little thing dragging the big gold thing behind her.
Another picture of Abigail dragging stuff. Here it is a big bowl and spoon. The funny thing is, is that now she doesn't just drag something and leave it, she really interacts with it. Last night she got this bowl and spoon as I was cooking and playing in the kitchen for a while, but then took her act into the living room. As she walked around she stirred and stirred. Maybe she can cook something for Mommy while Daddy is gone this week.
Abigail is currently really into dragging things around the house, I am going to post a few pics of her in action.
Abigail has recently taken to picking up anything that resembles a phone, sometimes it is acutally a phone, sometimes its a remote, sometimes its a box,(here it is the baby monitor), and walking around the house jabbering away as if she is in full blown conversation. It really is hilarious. She even tends to walk into our bedroom, which is where we go to use the phone, due to the poor reception we get here. After viewing our friend Lillian's blog ealier I think that Abigail and her sweet girl Sadie must be having some sort of long distance friendship going. So, holla Sadie!
